Rene's "Report"
Mrs. Rene' attended East Carolina University where she received a B.F.A. in Dance with a concentration in Ballet in 1997. She continued her education by receiving a MAEd in Instructional Technology Specialist from ECU's distance education program in 2003. She has employed in the NC Public School System since August 1997.
She began the dance program at Southeast Raleigh High School where she was employed from 1999-2003. Then, she worked at Four Oaks Elementary for 1 1/2 years where she also began the dance program. Mrs. Nickie Coats continued the dance program when she transferred to Meadow School before finding her "Spot" closest to home at Benson Elementary School. Mrs. Rene' is currently teaching her 5th year as the K-4 Technology Teacher at Benson Elementary School.
Mrs. Rene' has been in several pageants throughout her child and adulthood. Many include holding the title of Jr. Debutante Miss Erwin-Denim, Miss South Johnston High School 1992, and Miss Erwin-Denim where she was also the Swimsuit winner in October 1992. In June of 1993, she was the youngest contestant to compete that year in the Miss North Carolina Pageant at the age of 18. In 1992, Mrs. Rene' was selected as an All-American Cheerleader in which she traveled to Hawaii to cheer in the Hula Bowl. She is available for Private Lessons and Pageant consulting (by appointment only).
While attending East Carolina University, Mrs. Rene' was on the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squad her Freshman year, a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority (since 1994), and she was on the Pure Gold Dance team her Senior Year (1996).
She has been involved with choreographing musicals at Southeast Raleigh High School (Fiddler on the Roof), and also at the Benson Little Theatre (Sound of Music (2000), Oklahoma (2011), and Willy Wonka, Jr. (2011) for the Children's Summer Theatre.
Mrs. Rene' resides in Benson with her three children, Reagan, Westin, & Jake. By the way, Westin & Jake are TWINS! She enjoys designing websites, shopping, reading books on her kindle, and traveling.

I am super excited about our classes starting for the 2011-2012 dance year. RENdancE is celebrating its 14th year! We have many exciting routines and combinations planned for you this year. Here is my class schedule:
